Code word: uterine cyst
Recently, there was a discussion about uterine cysts. It reminded me of how many girls in my high school had uterine cysts and had to have them removed.
It was a code-phrase for an abortion.
Kar knows two girls in her graduating class who are pregnant. Out of 300+, that's not really bad. Then again, how many AREN'T talking, and well, Prom is still a few months away.
Spring Break isn't what it used to be, going to Daytona Beach for a week of drinking, sex and drugs. And then, PREGNANCY! Not many kids do trips anymore, at least here in Michigan. Works for me!
Truthfully, my biggest fear is for Kar to have a young pregnancy. My stepson is the same age, but the same worry isn't there for us. Maybe it's because he isn't here all the time and doesn't have the same rules. Maybe it's because there could be a chance he could be exonerated from the DNA. Etc, etc, etc.
We want Kar to go places and do things and not have her deal with that type of responsibility on her own. It's tough. We want her to realize her dreams and enjoy her young life as a single woman, not be stuck in a relationship for the sake of a baby. There is plenty of time for that later on!
Because a baby can't be gotten rid of like a "uterine cyst."
