Viva, Las Vegas!

The Senior Spring Break plan has been made for Kar.

She and I will be flying out to Vegas for the week. Just us. Not Rick. He's staying home to take care of Neeko and the kitties. And have the remote control all to himself!

Not only is Kar EXCITED about going back to Vegas, where she loves, but it's even moreso since she has never been on a plane.

(Our layover is in Atlanta, so my best friend, Lisa, has promised to swing into the airport for dinner with us. YAY!)

A few coworkers have commented on Vegas not being for "kids." Vegas is so much more than Blackjack and slots, which really don't interest me. We want to re-visit our favorite sights, walk like crazy. Take in a few shows, like Mama Mia. Stay in a hotel ON THE STRIP. Venture downtown. See where Elvis married Priscilla. Shop, shop, shop!

And, of course, PEOPLE-WATCH.

Still, it will be a bittersweet adventure for us. Probably our last real vacation together. It's fitting to spend that time in Vegas.

"What happens in Vegas, STAYS IN VEGAS!"
