Glasses in an hour, but the drive time was 3 hours

Worked 7.5 hours today, my "1/2 day" (since I don't have a day off this week!), then had to run over to Grand Rapids to take Karina to get glasses at Lenscrafters. Emergency trip!

Her final eye appt clearing her vision was the day before she left for college. She didn't find any frames that she liked before leaving, so I promised we'd look when she came home. But she needs them NOW because of PowerPoint presentations in her lectures.

So, we met at the mall, she picked out her glasses, we ate dinner and shopped while they were made, we picked them up, we shopped for some non-refrigerated food, then I took her back to her dorm and met her roommate.

Pulled into my drive a few minutes after 10 p.m. Crazy day!
