My first, last and only marriage

Marriage is easy.

Living together is the hard part. Haha, I keeeed, I keeeed.

We have run the gamut of marital highs and lows for more than the last decade. In my experience, you cannot appreciate the good times, if you don't have some bad thrown in once in a while.

We recognize our strengths. I'm pretty good at managing our money. Hubby is pretty good at spending it.

Haha, I keeeed, I keeeed.

Probably the biggest "test" of our marriage came when the 4 of us spent an entire month together on vacation. It was far from easy to spend 30 days with almost no contact with other people we knew. It wasn't like we were all alone, but we really were.

As I like to say, 4 of us left and 4 of us came back. All alive. It was a success!

Honestly, after so much time, I really don't think about love. It's just there, kinda like the sun rises and sets each day. I gotta admit, I love that man o'mine!

When I hear people talk about marriage being "hard" or "difficult," I am reminded by this quote by Zig Ziglar:
"The way you see them is the way you treat them and the way you treat them is the way they often become."
